Ann Coulter Should Be A Professor *Updated*

September 29, 2011

Coulter’s best known for being a master polemicist with an eye for controversy, but she’s also funny, an outstanding researcher, and a brilliant thinker.

via The 50 Best Ann Coulter Quotes Of All-Time | Right Wing News.

One huge reason I like reading Ann Coulter is that she is nearly perfect (in my eyes) with grammar and punctuation and her writings offer the added bonus of a great vocabulary. She’s a fabulous teacher!

The Nasaltones – Reid, Obama and Waxman

September 27, 2011

Lately, the cameras in Washington are being held lower and lower (or are all the pols standing on boxes?). Between Reid and Obutthead, we should be qualified soon as nasal experts.

Thank goodness Waxman isn’t in front of a camera every day!

A Conservative Woman’s Problem with Palin – Really?

June 18, 2011

This post is a bit different from most in that the quote below is of a comment on the referenced article, not something from the article itself. I refer you to this article on the American Thinker web site this morning. The quote below is from a commenter who calls him or herself Echo. The comment gets right to the point very strongly. It made me wonder about the article author’s political slant. Lisa Fritsch is promoting her book, so maybe that’s the answer, but also note the title of the article. She could have written, “Conservative Women’s Problems with Palin.” Hmm. What do you think?

“Sarah Palin, the woman who put enough sizzle in McCain’s 2008 presidential bid … now finds herself a few matches short of stoking her own political fire.”

Really? Is that why Sarah Palin draws crowds in the hundreds of thousands everywhere she goes? Is that why the lefty media screams like a stuck pig that she’s creating traffic havoc across the entire Northeastern region of the U.S.? Right, Sarah has no sizzle?

One of the hallmarks of a person calling herself a conservative is a pledge to truth – truth based on facts. When a writer starts a piece with a false statement, it tells us more about the writer than about the target of their scorn. Governor Palin SIZZLES like a stack of hot cakes at a Flying J truck stop – just ask any cowboy trucker and he’ll tell you how Sarah sizzles, ask any mom who home schools her kids, ask any man who lovingly cares for his backyard wildlife friends, they’ll tell  you how Sarah sizzles – how she warms their heart with her unselfish love of country, devotion to our beloved Constitution and American values. Because of patriots like Sarah, writers are free to stick ugly pins in a Sarah voodoo doll, but all the witching boil and bubble bat’s blood brew will not hide the truth – the truth that Sarah is a leader extraordinaire that this nation needs and wants.

An apology to Israelis for our American President

May 23, 2011

Mark J. Fitzgibbons – AMERICAN THINKER

On behalf of most Americans, I apologize for our president.  He has apologized to other peoples for America.  I figured its time for an American to apologize to other people for him.

American Thinker: Wisconsin after the Union Takeover

Common citizens and private businesses are the next objects of union wrath.  Director of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association Jim Palmer signed a letter giving businesses who donated to Gov. Walker’s campaign one week to publicly denounce Walker or face a union-organized boycott.

Sendik’s Food Market has refused to capitulate.  Consequently, their doors were super-glued shut at one of their Milwaukee locations.

In Merrill, a group trying to recall Democrat Sen. Jim Holperin set up a table outside the Lincoln County Courthouse.   Soon union protestors arrived and surrounded the group’s table, waving signs and screaming through megaphones.  In a press release, the group reported that even as the pro-union crowd chanted “this is what Democracy looks like,” one of the protesters, “pretending to be interested in signing the petition, wrote profanity across a partially collected petition form, then began ripping up the completed petitions that were in close proximity.”

Pro-union forces remained around the table and prevented people from reaching the petitions.  According to the group, police officers stood by and did nothing.

New Drilling Technique Allows Access to Oil in Western USA

February 10, 2011

A new drilling technique is opening up vast fields of previously out-of-reach oil in the western United States.

Companies are investing billions of dollars to get at oil deposits scattered across North Dakota, Colorado, Texas and California. By 2015, oil executives and analysts say, the new fields could yield as much as 2 million barrels of oil a day – more than the entire Gulf of Mexico produces now.
