A Conservative Woman’s Problem with Palin – Really?
This post is a bit different from most in that the quote below is of a comment on the referenced article, not something from the article itself. I refer you to this article on the American Thinker web site this morning. The quote below is from a commenter who calls him or herself Echo. The comment gets right to the point very strongly. It made me wonder about the article author’s political slant. Lisa Fritsch is promoting her book, so maybe that’s the answer, but also note the title of the article. She could have written, “Conservative Women’s Problems with Palin.” Hmm. What do you think?
“Sarah Palin, the woman who put enough sizzle in McCain’s 2008 presidential bid … now finds herself a few matches short of stoking her own political fire.”
Really? Is that why Sarah Palin draws crowds in the hundreds of thousands everywhere she goes? Is that why the lefty media screams like a stuck pig that she’s creating traffic havoc across the entire Northeastern region of the U.S.? Right, Sarah has no sizzle?
One of the hallmarks of a person calling herself a conservative is a pledge to truth – truth based on facts. When a writer starts a piece with a false statement, it tells us more about the writer than about the target of their scorn. Governor Palin SIZZLES like a stack of hot cakes at a Flying J truck stop – just ask any cowboy trucker and he’ll tell you how Sarah sizzles, ask any mom who home schools her kids, ask any man who lovingly cares for his backyard wildlife friends, they’ll tell you how Sarah sizzles – how she warms their heart with her unselfish love of country, devotion to our beloved Constitution and American values. Because of patriots like Sarah, writers are free to stick ugly pins in a Sarah voodoo doll, but all the witching boil and bubble bat’s blood brew will not hide the truth – the truth that Sarah is a leader extraordinaire that this nation needs and wants.
